"UP AS YOU WIN" SYSTEMS

Dahl's Progression: Donald Dahl's book, 'Progression Blackjack,' features one of many systems used in the game of blackjack that claims to provide the player with a substantial edge and to uncover the truth behind the "card counting system." This blackjack betting system demands that players raise bets for every win in the following fashion: Let's say a player starts wagering from $5 bet. The progression in his wagering would proceed 5-5-7-7-10-10-15-15-25-25-35-35-50. If a player hits blackjack, he can then skip the next level. Doubling down allows a player to jump two steps forward. After reaching the highest bet, a player is advised to stay there until he loses. Losing any one bet sends the player back to square-one.

Up and Pull: This one is easy to grasp after you've been introduced to Dahl's progression system. Up and Pull is also known as the "regression/progression system. A player basically starts with two units. If he wins, he regresses to a single unit, and if he wins the next one too, he can then return to two units. He should make such advancements throughout the game, until a predetermined limit is reached.

Hoyle's Press, AKA Oscar's Grind: According to this system, a player has to flat bet, i.e. bet the same amount, up until he loses, and then proceed with the same bet till winning. This is the point where a player upgrades his or her previous bet by one unit only, continuing to bet that amount until the loss has been won back with additional unit. This may be represented in the following manner: 1-L. 1-L, 1-W, 2-W. At blackjack2002.com, we're not certain how effective this system is, since it may prove to be quite inefficient once a continuous string of losses befalls a player.

Reverse Martingale: The logic of this strategy runs contrary to the Martingale system mentioned earlier. While in using the Martingale system, a player doubles his bet after each loss, here he doubles after each win. Following this strategy it is not advisable, since with one loss, you can eliminate all of your entire winnings and then some. Not much of a deal!
