How to Play in a Blackjack Tournament
|
|
- The purpose is beating the dealer, by getting the closest to 21 as possible, without getting
"busted".
- When the dealer shows an ace, insurance is available at the price of half your bet. In this case, you won't lose the entire bet if the dealer draws a blackjack.
- Unless the player draws a blackjack at the same time, the dealer wins automatically when he draws a blackjack. If both the dealer and the player get a blackjack, it is considered a push.
- When you get blackjack (an ace combined with a ten or face card), you get paid 3-2.
- The online blackjack dealer will always draw on a 16, and stand on 17.
- Hands can be split on doubles, but you'll need to put in money in the amount of your original bet.
- When you want to get another card, you may choose whether to "hit", or to double your bet on that card.
- Reshuffling in the online blackjack tournament takes place 3/4 through the deck, so that unique cards are drawn in every game.
- Your start money and credit are determined according to the rules at every online blackjack tournament site.
- The online blackjack tournament table uses a shoe of 6 decks.
- In most places, you can put bet up to a maximum of $1000.
- A player who gets disconnected from the online blackjack tournament for any reason will not be credited for any potential winnings.
- While you may play online blackjack as often and as much as you like, you will only be eligible to win after you play at least 25 hands (in some of the sites, a tournament contains a total of exactly 25 hands).
- The winners of each online blackjack tournament (1st, 2nd and 3rd place) are announced at the end of each tournament, based on the players with most cash.
- Additional runner-up prizes will be granted for the players with most winning hands, most blackjacks, and highest winning percentage. These players must have qualified to win and have a cash balance of over $1000.
- Points have no cash value.
- In order to take place in the online blackjack tournaments, you must be of a legal age according to your state laws.
- Each member is responsible to abide by the taxation & gaming laws of their state. All of your state rules apply to you when playing online blackjack tournament, and you alone are responsible for obeying them. Online blackjack sites will not be held liable if your participation in the tournaments is forbidden or restricted by law.
- Paying all taxes according to the laws of your state, province of country is your responsibility and yours alone.
- Online blackjack tournament sites aren't responsible for malfunctions in your computer hardware, software or any electronic equipment, as well as for incomplete, misdirected, lost or late entries. These sites usually reserve themselves the right to modify, suspend or end the tournament in case of an infection by a computer virus or a technical malfunction.
- There will be only one account per person. Blackjack2002.com wishes to officially inform you that online blackjack players with duplicate accounts will forfeit their winnings unless they have special permission from the online blackjack site. When an identity of a person who submits an online entry is in doubt, it will be considered to be submitted by the owner of the membership and the e-mail account registered.

- When playing online blackjack, a player should agree a few terms the sites may present to him, such as:
- The online blackjack tournament site and its agents are released from all loss, damage or liability that results their participation in the blackjack tournament, with respect to their winning and use of prizes.
- To be bound by the site's official rules.
- The site managers may modify the site's rules according to their own judgment.
- The decisions, as written in the online blackjack tournament sites regarding the tournaments are final and binding to all the sites' users.
