Online Blackjack News - Blackjack gamblers are more susceptible to casino blacklists

Casino black books are kept for those players who’ve been reputed as swindlers and generally bad influence spreaders. Their names are listed in special files banning their feet to ever touch casino floors. One of those unfortunate individuals is David Morse, 52 of Cranston, R.I., who made living from playing blackjack for most of his life, having professional education of a stockbroker.

His blackjack career abruptly ended when in 1995 several casinos at which he played blackjack filed a complaint against his allegedly dishonest conduct. He was convicted in gaining personal advantage by manipulating cut cards, during the dealer’s shuffling. Though he attempted to make a petition to remove his name from the list, the trial proved to be fruitless.

A 56-year-old businessman Allen G. Perlman, back in 1978 was convicted in blackjack sleight, and placing bets late on the blackjack table. His lawyer persuaded regulators that the incident occurred many years ago, when Allen was still in his early manhood but since then became a law-abiding individual. Casinos were not taken by this argument and did not rush into deleting his name from a black book.
