Online Blackjack News - Blackjack-Playing Robber Apprehended in Atlantic City Casino
The New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force recently arrested Jack Johnson Jr., an individual who is accused of invading a home in High Point, North Carolina, stealing an unspecified amount of cash from the residence and, later, shooting both of his crime partners. The alleged robber was apprehended playing blackjack at Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
According to High Point police officials, Johnson shot the other two crime suspects, Roderick White, 25, and Larry Brown, 29, because he did not like the way they split the stolen money. White was shot in the stomach and Brown in the neck. High Point Detective Jerry Thompson was reported as saying that Johnson would probably have killed them, but his gun jammed.
Both White and Brown received medical treatment in a local hospital, and are now being held in the High Point jail. Johnson is currently in the Atlantic County Justice Facility awaiting extradition to his hometown prison. He is charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault with a weapon. The handgun Johnson used during the attack has not been found.
