Online Blackjack News - New Harrah's Casino in Iowa Features Blackjack and Other Classic Casino Games

Harrah's Entertainment Inc, the world's largest provider of gambling entertainment, recently opened the Horseshoe Casino in Iowa's Council Bluffs. The new casino features roughly 100,000 square feet of gambling space. Previously known as Bluffs Run Casino, the Horseshoe has undergone an $85 million renovation and expansion over the past year.
The new gaming venue offers classic casino games, such as blackjack, poker, roulette, and craps. One of the casino's biggest attractions is expected to be a World Series of Poker room, which will accommodate as many as 170 poker players. The facility will also house three restaurants.
Gaye Gullo, senior vice president and general manager of Horseshoe Council Bluffs, was quoted as saying, "The Horseshoe name is legendary in the gaming industry for making things right for the gambler, offering players the best odds, highest wagering limits and broadest array of games. [...] And we empower our hosts, shift managers and supervisors to proactively comp players. As a result, Horseshoe is a favorite of savvy gamblers."
