Online Blackjack News - Blackjack at West Virginia Racinos-Could it be?

West Virginia lawmakers are seriously thinking about expanding gambling in the state and allowing tables games such as blackjack in the state's four race track casinos. The reason for this potential expansion is the emerging slots industry in neighboring Pennsylvania.
West Virginia racinos will face a large amount of competition when slots come to Pennsylvania. Therefore, lawmakers believe that it is important to get residents to vote on whether they agree to allow games like blackjack, poker, craps and roulette under a bill that has been introduced by a Democratic member of the state House of Delegates, Randy Swartzmiller of Hancock County.
The introduction of table games such as blackjack to West Virginia could lead to the creation of hundreds of jobs. It has been estimated that for every table game, such as blackjack or roulette for instance, at least five full-time jobs would be created. Citizens will have to wait and see whether or not table games will make their way to West Virginia racinos.
