Online Blackjack News - Blackjack Geniuses “Breaking Vegas” in Upcoming Film

The film Breaking Vegas is based on the bestseller, “Bringing Down the House,” by Ben Mezrich. This non-fiction book is based on a gambling circle of M.I.T students who manage to manipulate the Las Vegas system and beat the odds in blackjack, using their mathematical skills.
These M.I.T math students develop a blackjack club, and ultimately become experts in card “Breaking Vegas” counting. They gamble a lot of money, winning over three million dollars in casinos around the world.
Blackjack is a game that is beatable, but very few people have the necessary mathematical skills to beat the casino in blackjack. However, in the 1990s, a former math professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology realized that the very people who had this high level of mathematical ability were sitting in his classroom, and so the blackjack journey began. |
