Hurricane Katrina has destroyed many Gulf Coast casinos, having a devastating effect on the future of the region's gambling industry as a whole. Everything inside the casinos has been ruined, including the blackjack tables.
The Grand Casino's popular walkway, which visitors once had to take in order reach blackjack tables and other games is now an open hole in the bay.
Blackjack lovers will probably have to wait months until they are able to return to these Gulf Coast casinos, as it may take at least this long in order to restore everything that has been destroyed.
