Online Blackjack News - A regular Blackjack or pretence for winning the Keno game?
|
|
A unique Internet-based computer program, the PlayAway, offered by the grand Foxwoods Resorts Casino allowed gamblers to purchase keno tickets at the casino and have a simulated blackjack, poker or slots game from the comfort of their homes. The winnings or losses were then dependant on the keno results.
Last month, the state’s objections to the Internet gambling have rather promptly curbed the Foxwoods PlayWay endeavors. Immediately after the Foxwoods executives launched the game, they had to shut it down. Though they argued that it’s essentially same old keno game only with slightly different layout, state officials believed that it’s another form of banned Internet gambling. Furthermore, the state threatened to press charges against Foxwoods if it doesn’t withdraw the game.
These disputes, for the most part, are rooted in the highly misleading graphical design of the PlayWay website. For those who are unfamiliar to the trick, it appears as if blackjack and slot games are just plain casino games and not the pretence for winning the keno ticket.
Foxwoods complied with the request and deferred the game until Monday, only two weeks after the launch.
