Catastrophe occurring on the Leisure Lady Casino boat over the Sunday has intercepted abruptly its routine gaming operations. This 265-foot nautical casino has made its first cruise in December 2003 offering games from Blackjack, “oasis”, Caribbean stud” Poker, Live Craps and Texas hold’em, to slot machines.
In the course of the incident, Leisure Lady Casino captain crashed into the commercial shrimp vessel, Elaine Michelle. The U.S. Coast Guard officials refused to comment the episode which took place at 2 p.m. about 9 miles from the Fort Myers Beach. James Fogle of the Coast Guard maintained that the case is still under investigation. Fogle has added that though at the time of the accident lots of people were playing blackjack and other offered games, no deaths or injuries were reported.
The investigation is yet to be completed and until then the captain Tom Drake remains silent, while the Lady Leisure boat is subjected to continuous restoration measures.
