Online Blackjack News - Missouri is rising against Blackjack Card Counting for the first time
|
|
The recently filed complaint concerning the Harrah North Kansas City Casino and a blackjack player is now under investigation. According to the player’s version his casino comps were allegedly annulled, once the pit boss suspected him of card counting.
The middle aged businessman claimed to lose $263 of accumulated credits at the Harrah’s casino. He also cited an instance in which the pit boss offered him a one-time $80 meal voucher saying he better play blackjack somewhere else. Harrah executive did not comment on this regard.
In Missouri, blackjack card counting for years has been considered part of the player’s skill and not a form of cheating. On the other hand, gaming commission also allows casinos to protect themselves employing a number of special table rules.
The commission enforcement chief Steve Johnson contended that if these allegations are to be backed, it would be the first such case in Missouri.
