Gambling as a fast and easy solution to savings for an old age has come to replace the traditional slow paced saving programs. Financial planners reportedly hear from clients that they consider tedious accumulation of funds to be rather useless time spending. Instead, they gladly turn to blackjack gambling, or any other forms of gambling they find appealing.
The former 66-year-old English teacher from Indianapolis has taken up on studying the blackjack card counting system and familiarized herself with Las Vegas, so as to enjoy the best possible complimentary food and hotel stays.
She has reported to own a condo in Las Vegas, while still capitalizing on a variety of hotel comps covering the expenses from gas to groceries, including visits to friends and relatives. Her bank account, she says, stocks about $1 million capital not from windfall profits, but small gains over a long time period.
There are however, less successful counts of people, plunging into dubious financial endeavors of gambling and end up loosing their entire possessions, hoarded in sweat over the years.
