Online Blackjack News - Survey: Vegas Still the Best, But Players May Cut Spending on Blackjack and other Games

The cost of visiting Las Vegas keeps going up as the years go by, making it harder on potential gamblers to come, vacation and gamble. Thus, players keep hoping to win the next round of blackjack or craps, as they have to save their money for the hotel and tonight's show. In addition, it remains true that when the going gets tough, the tough get going, and the Vegas fans aren't willing to give up on their favorite city so quickly. Apparently, they would rather cut their gambling budgets than to abandon the vacations altogether. These last few conclusions were shown by a new Survey conducted by the MRC Group Research Institute.
The assumed reason for the fact people tolerate the rising costs of vacationing in Las Vegas is that in the last decade, Vegas has become more of an entertainment-oriented vacation spot and less gambling-oriented, now attracting couples and families instead of just the common gamblers who have long frequented Vegas. These days, Vegas' shows are almost as popular as its roulette and blackjack tables.
30 percent of the people who have taken part in the survey said they're willing to gamble less money when coming to Vegas, in order to truly enjoy its other entertainment options. Now the main question is, with online casino sites presenting attractive promotions and convenient gaming opportunities, and with the spread of casinos throughout the U.S, will Vegas manage to keep its competitive advantage? Will it become a city of shows and amenities alone or remain the sin city of blackjack, roulette and craps? Only time will tell.
