Online Blackjack News - Blackjack and casinos take over Russia!

A change in Russian law has led to a flood of casinos and gambling houses in Moscow and the big cities during the last three years, with annual revenue of about $5 billion. The new Angara casino, with its slot machines and many blackjack tables is the latest in the Russia-Casino love affair.
These days, Moscow alone contains 58 casinos and over 2,000 gaming rooms, offering Blackjack and other card games, roulette and slots. Three years ago, before changing Russian law, there were only 30 casinos in Moscow.
Now, facing the consequences of its own legislation, the Duma is considering a new change in laws, which would prevent placing slots and casinos in residential areas. This would mean that Russian citizens would not be able to leave the house, cross the street and play blackjack at the neighborhood casino.
