Online Blackjack News - Indian Blackjack & Gambling Profits Increase by 23% Over 4 Years
|
|
State inspections indicated that the 11 Indian tribes in Wisconsin have managed to increase their profits from casino games such as Blackjack, by 23% in the last 4 years.
Last year, the tribes made a $516.3 million profit from the casinos they operate, and total revenue of $1.2 billion.
The inspection results caused criticism by the locals and government officials against the tribes and the agreement they have with the state, which allows them to run unrestricted casino gambling. The main criticism claims that the deals with some of the tribes are vague.
In response, the administrator of the Division of Gaming, Gina Frank-Reece, wrote that the tribes' casinos have and will pay the correct amount, as stated in the agreement and calculated by the Division of Gaming.
