Online Blackjack News - Blackjack tables - one of the reasons underlying Arizona’s increase in revenues
|
|
Last year records have shown that Arizona’s casinos were imbued with over $7.6 billion, yielded from blackjack, roulette and other forms of casino gambling.
A 41 year old gambler reported to spend on a single game of blackjack around $100 to $150. He said he visits the place 12 times a year, indulging mainly in blackjack.
Arizona grossed around $65 million in the past 12 month, pushing it to be ranked as the third most profitable casino nation. The only other serious contenders for this title are the tribal California and Connecticut casinos.
Some of the more serious Arizona revenue boosters are deemed to have originated from the 2002 approved initiative, which granted the tribes permission to cater the game of blackjack and install additional number of gambling devices. Still, 26 % rise in profits cannot be warranted by the number of machines installed. The only other reason could be the revision of operational procedures and integration of hotels and restaurants within the casino business.
Tribal gambling specialist Alan Meister, an economist who has carefully studied the industry and gathered new date on gambling, maintained that Arizona’s Indian casinos raked $1.5 billion, a leap of almost 26 percent in comparison to 2003.
