Online Blackjack News - Arizona Blackjack fraught with charitable endeavors

Since the 2002 ballot measures, Arizona Indian casinos were permitted to offer blackjack, slot machines and poker games, in return for sharing 1 to 8 percent revenues with the state.
Last year, the Tuscan trauma center, which is sustained on a budget of $25 million, received a weighty addition of $2.8 million from blackjack, slots and poker operations. This year, casino’s merits were directed at sparing another $250 to the salaries of local Tuscan teachers at the end of the school year and restoring the sight of the sheep in the Silver Bell Mountains.
Over the course of two years, 15 Arizona’s tribes, running 22 casinos with blackjack and other casino games created a windfall of $103 millions. The money was then funneled to the state school districts, with advantageous 56 %.
