Recent studies, concerning educational programs has shown that blackjack and a variety of spelling games can be administered to children over the summer time. For some children, it can become too joyful of a period, eradicating the last shreds of knowledge they’ve gained over the schooling periods. Math and spelling seem to fall under the category of more perishable subjects, as children often don’t practice those during vacations.
It may come as a surprise for some parents that blackjack, a casino game, could be quite handy when a bit of math reinforcement is needed. Addition and Subtraction can be practiced within a family circle, so that a child would not feel that a special emphasis is made on reviewing this subject.
For spelling, there might be a few online spelling games which could be played at the beginner, intermediate and high levels.
