A bill for a brand new handheld gaming device was recently submitted to Nevada lawmakers to poll for. Such technologically portable gambling would be powered by the affiliate, Cantor G&W of Nevada, also the owner of a sportsbook in the United Kingdom.
Visitors coming to Vegas would be offered to use mobile devices to play blackjack, video poker and other casino games.
The idea was prompted by the desire to customize a friendly service for those who’ve reserved a table at a local restaurant and wouldn’t want to miss an opportunity for a quick blackjack hand, just because they have to take a break for the nutritious refilling.
Visitors wouldn’t be able to use the handheld devices from their hotel room, but once they are out dining, or staying at the pool, they can have a quickie blackjack on the go.
The bill complies with the ban of the US government that prohibits any type of Internet gambling. The deadline for Nevada lawmakers to vote on the bill is June 6 and Kenny Guinn, Nevada’s governor would be the one to sign the bill into law with the state gaming authorities to work on the regulatory aspects.
