Online Blackjack News - There is more to Blackjack than the Basic Strategy

The blackjack basic strategy preaches that you must stand if your cards add up to 13 against a deuce. It is logical if you allude to the valid assumption that there are at least as many tens remaining in the shoe as (2s through 5s). In view of this, it seems reasonable to stand.
But it wouldn’t be such a bad idea to hit the 13 in this particular win or lose case. Why? Well, the blackjack basic strategy presupposes that a player always plays with an even high and low cards, which is not an unreasonable assumption, when your blackjack knowledge ends at that.
Had it been a normal shoe, standing would have been indeed a wise move. But for this shoe, the best advent is to hit. Moreover, when there are five more babies in the shoe than tens, it is highly advisable to hit 13 against deuce.
