One of the members of the MIT crew, Andy Bloch has made a name for himself in the world of blackjack by writing a bestseller, Bringing Down the House. The book perhaps not so much enlightening in terms of its blackjack strategic analysis, but it holds an important entertaining value. The subject matter depicts an account of what undoubtedly has been the most sacred wish of any blackjack player after years of practice: “If only there was a technique….”
Those of you for whom Andy Bloch is only a man behind the online site Full Tilt Poker, should pop into The Hot Shoe, the latest documentary movie on blackjack card counting system.
To further pump up the Bloch’s reputation, it must be noted that he recently cut off a prize of $1000 at the WSOP event at Rio In Las Vegas Congress.
