Online Blackjack News - Blackjack ‘ultra-genius’ talks to the nation
One of the ‘ultra-genius’ blackjack player, Jeff Ma, a 32-year-old Massachusetts Institute of Technology graduate, passed an intriguing lecture this week, on his personal experience as a Las Vegas blackjack wiz outperforming the most legendary casinos. Ma, coupled with a bunch of his talented friends who comprise the MIT Blackjack Team, meticulously analyzed the blackjack card counting system, based on probability formulas.
Unlike us, mortals, who see mere paper-thin rectangles stamped with an ornament pattern when gazing at a card deck, Jeff Ma sees negative and positive denominations. The MIT Team won approximately $5 million within the period of six years, whereas Ma’s achievements comprise roughly half of the 10-member group’s earnings.
Ma argued that though he and his group were hailed by people as ‘ultra-geniuses’, they are no more than ordinary humans, who simply took the game of blackjack to a point of business-like treatment.
